DGFC 0 1 Duston A

A great day for the spectators & the positive comments from officials and neutrals regarding the standard of football from all the teams present at the tournament was fantastic to hear. The spirit and intent the game was played in was a pleasure to witness.

 DGFC fielded a large squad of 10 players with our usual team spirit. The performances on the pitch were outstanding. Emma found herself amongst the action in the final 3rd of the pitch early on, with Jo scoring a scorchinbg shot. The interplay was superb & once you started talking on the pitch (not about the boys) the play was great. Alicia was strong at the back with both Ellie & Clare in support. Jodie saved a penalty in the shootout & was otstanding in goal. The penalty from Kaytlin was unstoppable with Carly's also finding the back of the net. Jade & Charly both ran the opposition ragged.

Thanks again for a great performance. I will see what more tournaments I can find, this is too much fun.

today we came against rothwell town the first half was evenly matched with rothwell going ahead 2-1 at half time with jade getting the odd goal second half started well for drayton playing some good football good perfomances from megan and alica in defence and jo aysha katyln ellie in midfield playing the ball about the turning point came after drayton kept on playing good football they made it 2-2 from a goal from jade this seem to spur them on even more winning the ball in defence and midfield then another goal from jade to complete her hatrick this seemed to give the whole team a lift then further goals from carly and jade got the victory this was a outstanding team performance and a joy to watch lets hope we can keep this up well done to you all
